She's derived it from several other recipes that she found online, and she made it this morning for breakfast. If you're not tofu's biggest fan--my wife loves tofu, me... not so much--you should still very much consider this dish. I was very apprehensive at first, but boy was I wrong. Simply put, if all tofu was this good it would be without a doubt my favorite thing to eat. Comments (0) Last Updated (Friday, 01 January 2010 17:19) |
Leftovers: Breakfast GravyDo you like leftovers? Do you like saving money? I sure do, and that's why I always save all of my leftovers. Some of my best dishes are derived from leftovers. My favorite thing by far to use for this is my breakfast gravy, which I gave you the recipe for a few days ago. I almost always have gravy leftovers, so I almost always have tasty gravy leftover derivatives. This magical stable is not only cheap, but it's versatility and ease of use are unmatched in do-it-yourself meat substitutes. It's great in sauces, chili, sloppy joes, and my personal favorite: tacos. Before we get too much deeper into TVP tacos, let's talk more about the magical ingredient itself.
